The PB Marlins Organization was created in the Summer of 2020. In the past 5 years the Marlins have help players reached their goal of making it to the MLB, two alumni’s that standout include Enrique Bradfield JR that was signed from Vanderbilt by Baltimore Orioles and Juan Polo that was drafted out of STU by the Cincinnati Reds. Many other players have used this Summer program to polish their game in the off season through our intensive group of ex MLB coaching staff that are here to give back to the game and our players.
Luis Castillo
Team President
Castillo is a three-time All-Star, three-time Gold Glove winner, and won the World Series with the Florida Marlins in 2003. He is also the only player who played for the Marlins in both of their winning seasons. He has just been name the the Marlins Hall of Fame. Castillo will dedicate his time to build teams and develop players with proper training that he learned through his Major Leagues Career. His goal is to help young athletes develop over the summer.
Marcos Cabral
General Manager & Head Coach
General Manager and Coach Marcos Cabral of the PB Marlins was drafted by the NY Mets in 2002 amateur draft as a Short Stop from Miami South West High School. He also played for the Marlins, Nationals, Blue Jays, Astros, and Aguilas Cibaeñas from the Dominican Winter league in his 10 year baseball career. Since his retirement from pro baseball Coach Cabral has coached at the youth, high school, and college levels for the past 10 years. He is currently the Head Baseball Coach at United International College and is also a Recruiting Director at ABF High Schools.
Kenny Vega
Data Operations
Mr. Vega has been in baseball operations world for over 20 years. He is the founder of the PB Marlins in 2020. He has coached over 25 prospects who are currently in the MLB. Over the years he has help with the success of the national level program Team MVP - The Sagemont Schools and the Next Level. His main focus now is helping the Marlins players and running day to day team operations.
